Each workshop reviews the applicable code book sections and presents essential information through slides and/or over-head transparencies.

High-lighting is NOT our only form of information!
There are questions and answer sessions as well as other reference materials. Our goal is to better prepare you for the State of North Carolina examination of your choice.

Preparation Courses
Getting ready for the North Carolina state exams.

Classes available
Heating:
Covered material includes but not limited to: code text, load calculations for Manual D, N, J, CS, and Q, Modern Refrigeration and all other aspects of referenced text depending on exam. Heating classes are 2 day of classroom instruction.

Plumbing:
Over 300 orginal copyrighted slides for the presentation to help understand the code text, covering mathematics, theory, intense drainage and vents.

Also all aspects of referenced text. The class is 3 full days over 30 hours of classroom instruction.

Workshops are available to prepare you for both Class 1 and 2 licenses.

Class 1 License:
Plumbing, H-1, H-2 and H-3. Workshops cover all systems to which the article appears. This means you can do residential and commercial work.

Class 2 License:
Plumbing, H-1, H-2 and H-3. Workshop covers a single-family house ONLY. This means you can only do work on a single-family detached house.

SP-PH Electrical Workshop:
If you're in the Plumb/HVAC service, you may need this license to legally disconnect the wiring of the equipment. This Electrical License allows the SP-PH contractors to perform electrical work on the equipment for the plumbing & HVAC equipment you are changing out.
